I love this fixture. I spent a long time looking for just the right fixture for our bathroom remodel and this works perfectly. I is not only beautiful, it is functional, filling the entire area with light. I suggest putting on a dimmer because it’s bright. The size was perfect for our needs. There is no flickering. It turns on quickly. There might be an exceedingly slight delay because it’s LED but to me it’s barely noticeable. The frosted glass is heavy and very sleek. It looks higher end than it is once installed. Not sure about the lifespan since it’s been up for about six months, but so far we haven’t had any problems and we use it a lot. There are no negatives. If you’re handy, you could probably install it, but l’d recommend hiring and electrician to make sure it is done right and installed level.
