To start off, I had problems with the first set I purchased (more info below) however, the second set I received is a solid 8/10. Everything works on the new pair. The overall quality is alright I suppose. There is not a super large amount of care taken in the manufacturing process. The back of the units are plastic, though one unit has some weird paint on and off of it that has a rough finish. On the driver side lower LEDs, the housings have what looks like flaking paint. The seal around the edges looks poorly done and rushed. The Halos are not the brightest and almost unnoticeable in the day. On top of all that, there was some sort of soda goo on the backside of the lights... Gross. However at night they look fantastic! The price is unbeatable. Now, back to when I said my first set had problems, from my original review "The problem is the lights do not work. The driver's side halos, Hi/Lol and top bar work. The lower 5 LEDs do not. I am okay with that, it's able to be lived with. However the passenger side is simply unacceptable! Neither of the Halos work, the lower 5 LEDs don't work, the high beam does not work, and on top of it all, the unit came in cracked! It is completely unacceptable! The only things that work is the top bar and the Lo beam." WOW! Those were some bad apples! However, I contacted the seller and got the issue sorted out. I must say, the seller was quite helpful and understanding! He got me a replacement set because of how poor the quality of the first set was! I was going to rate the lights 3.5-4 however due to the wonderful seller, I'm rating a 5 stars because of the fantastic service! Back to the headlights, they are not the brightest in the world, however they are about the same as what I had before. Also, they don't align the best. Now, I would recommend these to anyone who can use a screwdriver and has a basic understanding of electronics. They took me just over an hour to install. I took a spare wiring harness, ran it to my switches, and to the halos. Now, the headlights work with the factory switch, and my Halos work with a secondary rocker switch for showing off! Side note: It took a few attempts to contact the seller. The first message did not get delivered to him due to Amazons filter system. Give it time. Thanks for reading! These headlights are not bad for a budget pair of lights. They are not very hard to install. The hardest part is lining the adjustment bolts into the bracket holes but that isn't the products fault. Splicing the wires was simple and the wires were already pre-stripped. Simply take all of the white wires and splice them together and do the same with the blacks. Then take the white wires and splice them into the brown wire on your turn signal socket. Do the same with the black wires but splice them to the black wire on your turn signal socket. The lights are not bright at all. They are worse than stock but they definitely look gorgeous.Love the look of these.. especially from going from two different pieces to an all in one unit is really nice! Easy to hook up as got my power for the HID’s off the main coming in.. simply spliced everything and put a pigtail on it and landed it inside the connector.. I’m an electrician by trade so just think outside the box. Give 4 stars because I wished they were brighter. I actually feel like low beam gives me more light then the high beams do.I'll go ahead and say that this product does fit the F150 2000. You'll have to remove the grill completely, its a big install so if you aren't prepared to take it, this may not be the item for you. We had to remove the grill (chrome and plastic) and then mount the headlights then put the bumper on stretching it over the sides (slightly scratched the headlight but not noticible, mainly my fault for going too fast.) I replaced the running turn signal lights with an LED model, along with the top light which was an ugly orange 4100k bulb with an LED bulb that fit directly in. LED's all around, looks absolutely beautiful. Modded it with a dual 10,000K HID kit from kensun and it's insanely bright. For the other comments that say it doesn't fit, it will not fit in unless you take the chrome bumper off first which isn't specified in the instructions. Hopefully this helped you!The new spec-d Lights look fantastic once installed. However it was a little tricky getting the wiring spliced together. I ended up needing some help to wire it correctly. Once I got them working the stock bulbs were not the brightest at all. Highly recommend upgrading the bulbs! Anyway the lights did definitely upgrade the look of my 2001 f150it would have been 5 stars but.... halos are dim as HELL really bummed about that. Only reason its still a 4 star rating and not a 1 is because they look so damn nice on the truck! the LED bottom lights are real bright and it makes the truck look so much newer. They are tough to install but not impossible. You don't have to remove anything but the old lights but you do have to push, pull and tug to get the long threads lined up and the light pushed into the socket. They could be better wired as you have to gather and combine the led leads. They're not super bright but seem to me as good as the stock headlights on my old truck. Overall, a good upgrade. Now I was kinda nervous buying this based on some of the bad reviews. However it took about an hour to install these on my 99 f-150 xlt. You don't have to take out anything but the old lights, and then splice the wires into the three wires to get power to them. Overall, easy installation, but I used about 6 splices per side not the 2 they give you. Other than that, gives my truck a nice aggressive look, and the lights are about the same in brightness as the stock onesThey are not HID'S they are knock offs. But they still look great. Basic yellow beam not white or colored of any kindWeak plastic not sealed so you have to chaulk it yourself or moisture gets behind the lens. Get what you pay for
