I was surprised to see somewhat poor ratings for this fan. My husband installed it and had no trouble, although he did just install another fan recently so he remembered a lot. I had absolutely no trouble setting it up on its app and then connecting it to Alexa. I’m really pleased with the brightness of the light, and love the many settings for fan speed, which go from 1 to 10. Even at its highest speed, it doesn’t wobble at all. The light color choices are “white” or “yellow.” I thought the combination was the nicest shade so I created a group in Alexa called “ceiling light.” I can’t speak to the remote control, because I only use it through our Echo Dot.
